TNG Fisheries provides weekly updates on the status of Tŝilhqot’in salmon populations, fisheries, and TNG Fisheries Department activities throughout the salmon season (mid-July to early September) here on our website and on the TNG Facebook page.
Chilcotin Landslide Response
In response to the Chilcotin Landslide that occurred on July 30, 2024, TNG rapidly formed a technical tripartite Emergency Salmon Task Force to assess impacts on Tŝilhqot’in-bound salmon populations. The Task Force shares regular Situation Reports to communicate key developments and milestones in the landslide response.
