TNG Emergency EOC has been Activated to level 1 to monitor the wildfire situation in the River Valley in Williams Lake. At this time there is no danger to Tŝilhqot’in communities in the territory.
The Tŝilhqot’in National Government offices are on T’exelc (Williams Lake) within Secwépemc’ulucw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc. Williams Lake is also where the Tŝilhqot’in, Dakelh, and many other people live, work, and play today.
