Nen: Lands & Resources

Nen translates to “lands and resources” in the Tŝilhqot’in language. Nen has sustained the Tŝilhqot’in people since time immemorial. As the lands and waterways see continuous and increased pressures from the climate crisis and development the Nation’s jurisdiction must be recognized. Jurisdiction comes in the form of making decisions on how the land will be used and benefiting from the resources it contains.
